Hey guys, just wondering? Any word on Cingular getting the "Nokia 8801"? and Price $ ?

No. No carrier will be carrying this phone directly. How ever I know some agents can order it for you. I know I can. But directly from Nokiausa.com :

"This Nokia phone does not include wireless network service. It is available for existing wireless GSM network subscribers only. >>
This GSM device is designed for networks with 850/1800/1900 MHz MHz bands
Important: You will need a SIM card from a carrier like Cingular or T-Mobile that offers a GSM network."

It's now available on Nokia's website for $799.99.

A little steep if ya asked me.

You can get it for like $650 shipped on certain sites too.

Exactly

I'm SO glad I didn't upgrade when given a chance and I waited for better phones to come out. I know this phone is not PTT or 3G or whatever...but I really want this phone. "Back in the day" I always wanted the 8860 on AT&T. I've always loved Nokia's metal-bodied phones.

Would it still come with the cradle etc? :s

This phone is not worth the 800$ Your paying for something that is going to be obsolete in 1 or 2 months. Read the reviews on it and you will see.
