Sanyo VI-2300 Speakerphone/Memory/Hot?

I just switched to Sprint from Verizon because of some service issues in my area. I needed a phone w/a great speaker phone and having been a Motorola user for over 10 years, the Sanyo's were the only Sprint phones that seemed to even come close to Moto's V60 serries (what I had) speaker phone quality.
However:
1. The speaker phone on the VI-2300 seems to be half duplex. Is it?
Does Sanyo make a phone with a full duplex speaker?

2. The back of the phone got very hot after about 20 mins of continuous
use on speaker- is that normal? Some older Moto phones also did that.

3. Memory seems to be very small. When pressing "dowloads-options",
it displays:
Memory
Used: 628 Kb
Free: 396 Kb.
How could there be so little memory and how could so much of it be used up already when I just got the phone yesterday and haven't downloaded anything?

Any comments on the above would be appreciated.

Sanyo phones are known for getting hot. They are still great phones and the fact that they get hot doesn't affect performance. The VI-2300 doesn't come with that much internal memory. But some of it is already taken up because there are game, application, and web demos already built into the phone. If you erase them that will free up some memory for new ringers, games, etc.
