The outside screen of my x800 has stopped displaying anything - now I am unable to see who is calling me, the time, etc...the backlight still works but thats it....can anyone help me possibly repair it??

This happens on my X800 too, like once a week, I just restart the phone and it is working fine.

I'll chime in. I have exactly the same problem. Only the backlight works.

I had the same problem , like mwing stated, just restart your phone and it should come back.

i guess they haven't perfected the external screen, am thinking of getting a panasonic phone but can't decide between which one.
