Treo650 problem with Powerbook... contacts being deleted from both laptop and device

One of my friends has his settings set to syncronize but for some odd reason it deletes random people from his contacts...Does anyone know why this would happen? Any help is appreciated.

hi,
I had the same problem a while back. No disrespect to you or your friend, but dont think you're a know it all when it comes to this. READ the setup instructions carefully. You HAVE to do it their way or it wont work right.
To fix my problem, I redid my whole laptop then...
1. Reinstall the treo cd
2. Open iSync and enable the palm conduit
3. go to the hotsync conduit manager and enable isync
you sholuld be able to sync then. If that doesnt work, let me know.
