Hi,

I just bought a Panasonic GD55 and it is one tiny cool phone! After I plug in the SIM from VoiceStream/T-Mobile, the display shows 'USA-310' instead of VStream or T-Mobile. I understand this is probably due to the fact that the firmware on the phone does not have a match of the VoiceStream network ID so it just display the 'raw info'. Does anybody know if there is a way to add it to the phone or flash a new table of carrier network listing to the phone? Thanks for your help.

Just a guess, but I do not think so. In GD87, this requires a factory provisioning change that involves the 'secure' areas of the flash ram. I think you will have to live with it unless Panasonic tech support can help you.
