Where's the cheapest place for a TX-310 data cable?

Hi,

I was chatting with another TX-310 user and we got on the subject of the data cable for this phone. I haven't really looked into it, but it seems like this data cable is quite expensive (cheapest place seen so far online is Rogers AT&T website for $51).

I'm just wondering if anyone might know any place that has these data cables for cheaper? Either online or in the GTA preferably...

Or, I guess if I want to get adventurous.. does anyone know how to make one? heh heh...

Thanks for your suggestions!

Jus

well, does anyone have one that they'd let me borrow for a few hours?? i'd just use it to map the pins to their connectors (i'm assuming its a serial connection) so i can make my own cable...

There are electronics in the datacable. The voltages are different than the serial port. You can not simply map the pins. Plus there are different pins that route voltages to other pins so the mobile knows that there is a datacable attached as opposed to a TTY terminal. There is an ongoing discussion about datacables in yahoo groups under panallure. I would post there. Something about a cable being available in San Jose
