Nokia Not Very Customer-Centric

Nokia has some great technology, it is a shame they do not exhibit much in the way of customer care or market concern.
I have owned all of the communicators except for the latest 9300/9500 series. Also owned other Nokia products over the years. I eventually sold my communicators on eBay not because they were too big but because Nokia would tend to abandon support for them in terms of new PC operating systems, office apps, etc.
Yesterday I decided that I can no longer tolerate my Blackberry 7100 and figured it was time to order a Series 80. As I started looking at my options I was again reminded that Nokia just does not get it in terms of customer service.
Why these are not quad band phones, in the year 2005, defies explanation. The 9300 has been announced for almost a year and is still not available even as news about the 9300i is now hitting the streets. The BB Connect software promised for March is still not here, although you can find it at their German site. I do not really want the bulk of the 9500 or the low grade camera but was about to order one last night when I discovered no 850 support. Now I am hearing, not sure if it is true, that XP is not supported?
Nokia ether needs to decide they do not want to do business in the USA or else they need to get serious about it. Maybe they will surprise us and meet the latest November "coming soon date" for the 9300. I could really fantasize and imagine they will exceed expectations by making the 9300i available at that time, and just skip the 9300.
Great products but they sure make it hard to be a paying customer.

I could not believe I did not write this when I was reading it!!!
The only thing that I could change here would be Blackberry 7100 to Trio 600.
The rest is directly applicable to me!

Well, at the rate Nokia is dragging their feet, maybe we should start looking forward to the new ROAD unit launching first. Looks like a 9300 on steroids.
