is there a way i can change the software/firmware of my Virgin Mobile 8910 to that of the Verizon or Alltel versions of the phone?

It's been addressed before:

However, someone has cliamed to have flashed a Flasher to Cricket, so that's an option, but Verizon doesn't seem to be. (Not sure about Alltell)
