Euro 903 camera performance

Now that the Euro flash is avaliable for the 903 I'm pretty sure I am going to pick one up for the wife. One question though: I hear that there is a ~5sec delay when taking a picutre. the question is what part of the process has the delay. I assume that there is not a 5sec shutter delay because no one would even use the camera. so is the delay from just after exposure (analog term, not sure what the digital term would be) as in the time that the pic is being writen to mem or some other part of the process. my concern is that the delay would make the camera not user friendly. The wife's priority is the best camera that has a simplistic telephony UI

5sec delay?? nvr heard about that... maybe the auto focusing part? i dunno if that's what they are referring to

i think they are talking about the time it takes for the camera to turn on

Yes yes...There is a slight delay in Switching on the camera. You would also hear the lens on auto focus when it is ready to take picture.
