Hello,

I just got motorola V3 RAZR black edition today,
it's cingular locked.
I got unlocking program from GSM-Software.com,
but it's keep saying Boot 08.26 is not supported at this time.
I'm using T-mobile now, so I need to unlock this phone.
is there any way that I can unlock it?
please let me know

sorry if this is a stupid question but, on that bongo site, you have to buy their service in order to do the remote unlock correct? once you buy this service, can it be done whenever you want just by using the username and password they give you? maybe someone who has used their service or works for them can shed some light on this subject for me? thanks!

you buy onetime usages. you can buy unlimited use username but that's a lot more money

also to unlock v3 right now, youll need to do this first http://www.smart-clip.com/testpoints/V3.php and get 8.23 bootloader on the phone (not sure if 7.d0 would work). then you can use your clip or bongowireless.

actually i checked my bootloader and its the 8.23 version. as for the test point thing, is it necessary in order to upgrade teh flash/flex on the phone? thanks for helping out a V3 noob

i dont know what program youre talking about but unlocking like that is frowned upon here. youre better off paying bongowireless to get it unlocked for a nominal fee.

you dont need to ground testpoint to flash/flex

wait, i was going to unlock my phone using the bongo service...what's the "program" you are talking about?
