i dont know, but maybe just maybe if more than a certain % of your stooges aka slaved employees ( or sales consultants as cingular says) dont even hit the 80% for acts maybe you should throw out the write ups?

im on strike 2 and again 50% of our sales people didnt hit target.

so there goes my chance to apply for assitant management. in fact, i dont care anymore. ive learned to accept these crappy payouts( yes, ill admit i *****ed bout em often here ) but this is just a tad more pathetic.

if theres any good cingular taught me, it was to go get my ccna and move on. sure, my ccna wont get more a ton of money but ill atleast make hell a lot more than i would at cingular with half the crap i have to deal with.

im not going to leave until i get fired. when i do get fired I WILL send a nice warm e-mail to our VP/GM and stan himself.

heres an idea of what my email will be (ill make sure it hits to my vp/gm)

"mr VP/GM's of cingular if you read this, realize that raising the bar should apply to the entire entity of cingular and not just it's network.I'd like to think of each bar reflecting a new and improved part of cingular.

in total, all five bars would be about the new and improved network,phone selections,rate plans, better pay for those who work the front lines , and last but certainly the most important.....customer service.

since last october 2004, i have yet to see a full signal or real signs of improvement. i only see marginal improvement. It's understandable about the network and most of us aren't too harped about it. The things we have issues are with customer service, the rate plans and the commission structure."

i really dont know how i can defrag the thoughts i have right now in my head, but this is what i could format it into somewhat readable sentences. it'll get improvements but id like to give you ideas.

anyways heres to a better november than october.

I was told that those that aren't union will be going union by next year. As much as I hate unions one benifit of them is that if you strike you won't be fired.

My recomendation to all the reps that are still there when this happen is to strike. We all know that the union isn't going to do jack in terms of pay but you might as well take advantage of being able to strike.

If all the reps that post here go back to their stores and organize a strike at their level and colaborate with the other reps that post here you can get the word out quickly and make a huge statement.

I wonder if I should make a poll and see how many of you are at that point.

With the greedy fools that run Samgular dont wait up for any help from them . Xmas will be higher quota and lower pay out per sub - guaranteed . So more intelligent sales reps will quit and get REAL jobs where you dont get written up for almost anything , and then get replaced by kids and thus churn will go up and Verizon and Sprint will beat us again in the 4 th quarter and then maybe some heads will roll at the top . But the top brass will keep their jobs ( of course !!1 ever heard of any been written up - SAMED or fired - none of course ) and kept putting in Roker $249.99 phone ( that doesnt work as a cell phone but it is a average ipod ) and the Razor $220.00 ( great phone but get it for free at Wirefly and most online sites - well done Crapular make it a lousy situation for the hard working reps ) in the Sunday paper just to scare off Dad and Mum who wanted to get a phone for their child - mean while Verizon has buy 1 get 1 free . Crapular Mgt needs to go back to school before 2 other companies over take us . which they will at current ads . Verizon has kicked are butt 2 quarters in a row . and now Sprint just beat us - well done STan and Dan Norman -- the guy who got booed off the stage at a ( fun rally ) in Orlando last year !!!!

2 quarters ? you kidding me by years end Verizon will pass Cingular. Once they eliminate all indirect with the exception of the big Brick and mortors Cingular will go into a free fall.

good Lord Alfred, judging by the many (and I do mean MANY) posts that you've made in the past, you actually seem like you're a bright person with a good head on your shoulders. so why on God's green earth dont you pursue your other occupational dream(s) NOW and tell Cingular where to go?

man, I just dont understand how much hell and misery one person (like yourself) could go through before saying enough is enough....

your story kind of reminds of me a battered woman that still chooses to stay with the same man who beats her from day in to day out and doesnt do a damn thing about it.

that actually scares me because people like myself (in my area) simply dont have any other provider choice besides Cingular.

well, there are other carriers like Verizon and T-mobile but they both majorly suck compared to Cingular's incredible coverage.

Are you union? I was actually talking to our steward today about the same issue. Last month they sam'ed someone yet I was the only one to hit quota. This month was shaky for all of them too. He said that the union rep can file a grievance with the company to reverse it if they can show other reps doing the equal numbers. He said it reflects on the store if the majority are eligible for sam. Look into it.

it pays me better than working at circuit city and such will ever do.

i love selling cingular. its simple. just hate the rest associated with corp side. ill never find any good payin agents in my market that sell cingular.

I hope you can find a job with that cert. It will probably be a while before you start making decent money with it.

Alot of the certifications out there are becoming more useless thanks to all the people using braindump and passing them. Experience is what counts and while cingular may be an easy job and a decent paying one while you are studying, I'd personally start looking around for entry level jobs to get your feet wet, even interning would be better than the headaches of working for cingular.

^ man, thats good to hear. I cant emphasize enough to you why you should get out of that stinkhole as soon as you can. certainly there has to be a better life away from that hellhole of an employer that you call Cingular wireless.
