Problem Downloading...

Ok, noob here, asking a somewhat stupid question.
I've got a Kyocera KX1 (Verizon), and whenever I try to download anything, nothinga t all happens. More specifically, when I click the download link, the page kinda refreshes, and nothing is downloaded. I'm trying to download some wallpapers and ringers from polyphonicringtonez.com, but nothing at all is working.
I've enabled downloads in the options thing, and it still doesn't work. I'd appreciate any help

I don't have a cable myself (I have a KX2) so i haven't enabled direct downloading yet...I'll let you know when I do...(you did enable direct downloading right??)
