Hello, first post, have been reading HForums for a while but haven't registered until now.

I'm very interested in buying a Sharp 903 but I'm confused on what one I want. I've read a ton of threads on it but I just keep getting more confused. I'm in the US and not sure what version I want or where to get it. It would need to be unlocked as I want to use it with Cingular and I want a black one. Is there a difference in 903 and 903SH? Is the black even available yet? I want to be able to play mp3s and I heard some versions do not have mp3 playback. I'm not counting the kind that need to be converted, as long as it plays mp3s.

I was hoping to order the phone this week.

the short that I get from what I've read is that the UK might have a black 903 phone, but most of the people are talking about the cheaper 903 SH phone from Japan. Black is an option but aquiring it is a different store. One also shouldn't be overly concerned about mp3 play back because the model (Japanese) that can't do it, can play AAC files, which you can just use itunes (http://www.apple.com/itunes/) to convert mp3 files into. As far as I know, as long as it is unlocked you should have no problems using it with Cingular.
