the left one white 703 is flashed with fully unlocked Euro firmware
and
the right one green 703 is flashed with fully unlocked JP firmware

Good stuff... does this mean if you unlock it with the japanese firmware and fully unlock, we can still keep all 3 themes?

Also, does it have the reprovisioning problem like the 902sh did? Looks like it.. or was that just because the time wasnt set?

Also, in the Japanese fully unlocked version, does the mp3 playback work or do you still need the DRM stuff?

Yes 3 themes are still here in the JP firmware.
Rerov. popup can also fix it too with some trick. Thats not a BIG problem.

However JAPANESE firmware still cant play non DRM mp3.

What is the trick to fix the reprovisioning problem? Is it a trick that you constantly have to perform?

Im guessing in the japanese version you cant use MP3 as ringtones as well right

Forgot my old username and don't have my old email anymore, so starting over. First time in sharp forum. Been lurking/ hopefully learning for a while, waiting for the ideal phone for here and Japan.
Anyway, that is an awesome video. I figure I'll just buy a locked one off ebay and wait for someone to start flashing euro f/w on it.
Awesome forum, much more 'teamwork' if you will than on the nextel forum it seems.

Now I am even more tempted to buy a Sharp.
I been asking my sister in law to see if I can get this from Japan and the price.

For the past few years I am on top of SE phones...now it's time to get a Sharp.
Hope the unlock is offered soon, so I can get a new phone.

i have full unlock for all versions of the 903sh and 703sh right now. NO BUGS ON ANY Of them. no repro.. no nothing.

this is for chinese. euro and japanese. so kick ***. no more hybrid junk.

no more illegal imei changing. there's alot of that out there. so becareful ppl.

Timsta, is your fw the same as terenshi's? What are the differences if any? Which one is better and more stable?

Tims is more stable. Terenshi only has one unlock method and its the chinese, Tims has all and he lives in CAD so shipping isnt a pain in the arse.

others have full unlock.. but they have reprovisioning.. ONLY my crew and my partners in toronto, norway have teh real version without reprovisioning. full video coming soon.

haha. sorry. i'm flashing phones right now.. haven't had the chance to make the video. i'll make one today with my 6682.. i don't have another 903sh on hand to make a video with.. i coudl use my digital camcorder.. but thats just annoying cause i have to convert the dv to post... and jsut very troublesome. i'll have one up as soon as i can.

tried out flashing my phone today.... it worked. great job setool/. status light working. mp3 dual layer stereo as ringtones working. master reset cool. space button fine. phonebook and contacts ok. everything is perfect. my dream phone. thanks to all who made it possible

I've just bought the Sharp 703 Vodafone Japan version and cannot connect to GPRS as it is being locked. My local operator suggests i try to unlock it. What options are available? please help! i'm getting sleepless nights. Thanks very much. The phone is great if not for this problem.
