To ANYONE who instructs me how to restore my DEAD PEBL. I tried to flash/flex with a monsterpack found on this forum - for the PEBL. Unsuccessful flash and my phone's screen is stuck in this screen:

Boot Loader
08.A1
SW Version:
R478_G_08.83.6
CI
MEM_MAP Blank
Service Req'd

OK to Program
USB
Transfer Mode

While I'm not sure of the "reward", I guarantee that the one who helps me through this will get something COOL! By the way, don't ask, I was foolish enough NOT to make any backups.

UPDATE>>>>Trying to use PST, When verifying the checksums, I get about 6 errors that read:

Error code group 0 contains no subscriber unit checksum
Error code group 1 contains no.....
Error code group 3...
Error code group 4...
Error code group 15....

Still no luck....

try finding a different flash version and flashing that. if it gets into bootloader mode its a good sign.

Any idea of which flash version? I can't find anything specific for the pebl - Could I use a V3 flash you think?

Just out of curiousity, why did you flash your phone in the first place. It hasn't been out for that long and the S/W probably wasn't going to be much different.

Exactly ^^^^^^^^

Until the phone is out in mass production and memebers here or on other boards have played with it for a while I say your options are few at best. And if your thinking of a v3 file I suggest you rethink that. You could damage the phone even more.

So - I can get into the Bootloader screen so I guess that's a good sign - Is there ANYTHING I can do to bring this thing back to life? I flashed because there were so many disabled features and I had been told that the official pebl monsterpack on this forum was good to go - My mistake.

You can flash your phone with Rsdlite it works the same as Pst but more stable.
Rsdlite for the V635 is best as I couldn't flash with pst after a bad reflash but
flashed no problems with rsd.Google or www.howardforums.com

there are what, 2....3 flash/flexes out for that thing? Your options at this point in time are limited, so honestly, if you don't wanna eff it up anymore than it is already, wait for more ppl around here to get 'em

and try to keep the battery from draining unless you have a seperate batt charger
i.e. take it out of the handset and store it in a cool dry place

seek more carefully. and BTW, try to make backup NOW,
it can be handy if you get your phone in some VERY DEEP trouble
