V600: images are too large to open?

i sent a few jpeg images to my phone. most of them are between 20-50 kb. but for some reason, 3 of them say they are too large to open? even though there are bigger file size images that work fine, there are 3 that are giving me problems. all are 176*220.
any clue why this is happening?

this has happened on my v620 but i dunno why this has happened.

anyone know what is causing this? the sad thing is...2 of the images i really really want are the ones not working

USe IrfanView or any other Photo imaging software.
Open the image with IrfanView and select image resize/resample
and change the DPI to 1 and save image.
