employees check your chargbacks

im looking and i see cingulars doubling the charge backs!

im getting $20 charged back from a media works that i was paid $10 for.

what in the hell?

seriously everyone, CHECK YOUR CHARGE BACKS.

im not going down w/o a fight on this

SAMgular has been stealing from its employees since I first started . Now I check every month and try and " reconcile " to MY money back !!! that they stole while I was asleep . How come a simple email to CS and tech support from Stan or Dan cant fix this up . I have never worked for a company that does this ? No wonder they cant keep 80% of the employees for more than 2 years !!!! But before the company men or Head Office spies on this site reply ( if you dont like it go somewhere else stuff ) -- I stay here for my own reasons not because I like this job or company and the sad fact is I am very good at my job - imagine how good i could be if I respected Cingular ?

The biggest BS is under 6 months if the customer phones up CS or tech support those clowns do a delete and add ( to supossedly get the media package working again ? ) so a feature I sold gets STOLEN from my next comm check . I know reps that just do their own delete and add ( not a good idea with the corp spies looking at everything you do ) and get the money back in 48 hours after "Mein Kemp " updates or in 2 weeks as it has been latetly .
Every month $50- 90 bucks out the window . And even reconcile doesnt always work . I know reps that just give up on the whole thing and while they are working go to Monster.com to find a better job .

Or better yet the customer doesn't pay the bill so if gets turned off = Ch B ack but the when they finally pay it guess what ? most of the time 90% the Crapular computer doesn't put the money back on to your next check !

I firmly beleive all this is done on purpose and with their corp knowledge and thus millions of dollars are stolen and not paid out . What only sales reps figured this out not the HO types .

What else could it be Company men ?

damn, that sucks.

this would be on the same level as Cingular "accidently" overcharging some customers (like myself) on their monthly bills and not doing anything about it unless the customer(s) themselves say something.

you know, we've heard it all before when talking to a company's CS rep: "oh, I'm sorry sir. the extra .75 cents that you were overcharged on your last month's bill must have been a computer mistake." - computer mistake my butt. computers only do what they're told to do, pure and simple. so if their computers overcharged someone .75 cents, chances are someone told that computer to "accidently" do it.

it happens all the time.

some of the chargebacks that are showing up as "double" are correct. There was a period of time that we were paid a cash incentive equal to the commissions paid on the feature sale. So, we're getting charged back for the feature commission along with the incentive. Not saying this is fair, but, ... as our ARSM says.... it is what it is.

ummmm that doesnt make sense...if its a spiff

A they cant take it back and

B if it was tehg case then teh "double" pay out would have shown....


PS anyone got paid for prepaid cards yet?

Hey guy's if they are doing that it's a major class action suit. And I hope your contract with Cingular allows these deductions in the first place. Remember they are the ones that qualify customers to get these accounts.

There's no rule that says a "spiff" can't be charged back. When I worked at RadioShack, "spiffs" most certainly got charged back in the case of a return.

And yes, we are getting paid for prepaid card sales.

And in any case... it's always a good idea to meticulously inspect your pay and chargebacks. This holds true for any company.

Spoke with upper management and they stated to us that any spiff or cash incentive (Such as the Cingular Rewards features, etc) were not to be charged back and was a software error. An example was a MEWK feature I added in which I was charged back 3 times for the same month even though I was only paid 10 from the company and an additional 10 from the promotion. Upper management asked us to go through and document what was charged back incorrectly so they could have it resolved. (Nearly $300 charge backed this month )

Why do WE have to spend time resolving it it ??? - They never get our chargebacks wrong - do they ??? ( no software issue there is there ? but only on payouts and stealing from us ) !!! I think this company sucks big time and they purposely do it knowing the 18-20 kid wont check or care if the big corp giant that does $25,000,000 bil so far this year in sales cares they would fix this .

Samgular has a very hard time keeping employees in west central florida -

Why is that because it is poorly run here - people /customers talk and the best form of advertising is word of mouth --- not putting the useless $250.00 roker ( crap phone Motorola phone see: v220 or v180 or v551 crap phones ) in the Sunday paper while verizon has get one free out the front door add !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Or watching one of our HO types put down the competition at a " fun rally " ya sure!!! everyone sits there all silent as he puts down the competion - T-Mobile they will go away ( maybe that is true ? but why tell us ? ) , Metro PCS - puts them down ( guess what Moron they are here with a vengence and are going to hurt every company / carrier at the lower pre paid levels ) then puts down Alltel ( real professional buddy )
then says Nextel / Sprint will go away ( Guess what fool they beat us by over 450,000 last quarter )
then the verizon logo comes up on the screen ( he says " enough said " - guess what they beat us by a 1,000,000 last quarter fool !!!! How does this moron keep his job , putting down the competition in front of 200 sales reps ???
People afterwards thought he was a clown . But he doesn't get SAM'd does he ????????

When will crapular wake up - when they are in second or third place -.

You get what you pay out boys !!!!

Anyways, I agree the company should be trying harder to resolve these issues so we do not have to take time from selling and assisting customers to make sure we are paid correctly. However errors do happen and I will continue to check my charge backs rather then just feel bad and let them go (Would be out a couple thousand already )

We have found in the past that if you dont watch chargebacks they will give it to you bad!! Also what happens if the person gets turned off then reactivates in another month? You should still get your $$$ back! Before we as a dealer were watching things of this nature they got loads of free $$$ from us over this. I dont know if you guys get the same kind of thing but I would watch those types of things really closely.
