6682 not available?

I tried to get my 6230 replaced by a 6682, they would only offer the normal ones like the v551 and that siemens crap. After fighting it for a while they offered a V3. They said the 6682 isnt available.

Does anyone know if the 6682 was discontinued? Know when they may have it available? I really want a nokia phone and not a motorolla POS.

the 6682 is having fw issues with the cingular 3g sim

shipments have been suspended from nokia until a fix is made

well i guess thats good to know. when did they do this? any idea on when it will be available again? i really want a nokia to take place of my 6230, im a big fan.

I wasn't aware the 6682 was a 3G device. I want one, too. But maybe it will have to wait. Of course, there's always ebay. Sigh.

its not a 3g device

its just that if you were to place your 3g sim in it that there would be problems

I saw that in the 40+ page long

6682 thread yesterday. Now I know what you mean. So, okay, they're trying to do something to make it so people can use the 3G SIM. I don't want to wait too much longer to get this phone. If it's not available this weekend, I'll consider my options.

well since my 6682 has been having issues too, and the s710a is gone now, i decided to try warranty and see what theyre offering in place of the 6682/s710a...guess what sh*t they offered? they offerd me a black razr or siemens s66 because those are the only "comparable" phones. im writing me a nice letter to cingular at the moment
