I just recently got rid of my sk2,...counldn't stand carrying around a laptop with slow wireless connection that was just good mostly for phone calls and IM's. Maybe this is just something that was happing in my area...(no service or lack there of who knows). So i then since switched to a Seimens CF62T after having a SK2, i love this lil POS. But my question is this...my girlfriend who loves her sidekick 2 and has beatin the piss out of it over the last year and some change has taken mine and wanted to get her login information on there. So how do i take off my user name and reset that info so that she can have her user name and password work on that phone. Its just a matter of switching SIM cards but the user name and password arent the same as i cancelled my data plan since i have no use for it. So how do i get rid of my user name on it and allow her to put in hers with her password. <~~~ my question marks broken but thats another problem easily fixed with a new keyboard

If your old device is still registered with your username, you'll have to call your carrier and have them "unlink" your username from your device. It's done on the network backend, not on the device itself.

Im looking into posably getting one. When you say username are you refering to everything such as aim and all or just like a tmobile email username?

He's talking about the tmobile user name, and yes you need to call them and have them unassociate your tmobile account with that device. Only takes a few mins, I had to do it when I bought a used one from someone to get their old username unassociated so I could sign up for a new one of my own.

yup IMEI is tied to your username, Fido or T-mo can reset it easily
