How do I get a ringtone (format: MP3) onto my E815?

What is the best way to copy my E815 contacts to my computer? Cable? Anyway to use the Bluetooth capability to copy contacts to computer?

I used to use Bitpim/data cable with my out LG VX6000.

You have to SEEM edit your phone first and that can only be done with a USB cable not a Bluetooth. Once your phone is SEEM editted, then you can use bluetooth to transfer pictures and ringtones and Mp3's.

I got my OEM cable and MPT software from ebay for $18.00 shipped. Cable works perfectly and the software works also.

If all you want to do is get your phonebook to your phone, you won't have to SEEM edit your phone. Just connect the USB cable, install the drivers and follow the screen.....it is very very easy to do that.

What I liked was that the MPT (MOtorola Phone Tools) even recognized Lotus NOTES (which I use at work). It transfered my calendar from Outlook and Notes to the phone.....flawlessly.....automatically!

MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS on the linked page. It took me twice as long because I "thought" I knew what I was doing. As soon as I slowed down and read step by step.....worked perfectly!

Now I don't have to pay VERIZON $1.99 or more for a stupid ringtone!
