does anybody have a good link to buy memory cards off at a decent price? I'm looking for a 512mb card. will this card make my phone slower or is it ok?

I got a 1gb card from outpost.com for $70(plus s/h and tax, of course), 512's run about $50. And my phone does'nt run slower, just freezes up sometimes, but I don't have any updates to my phone, which I hear can help.
