Hi there,

this has been happening a lot on my hiptop2.

this entire disaster started when i didnt have reception for 2-3 hours. approximately 3 weeks.. i brougt my phone to a fido boutique and they looked up my account and said apparently a new fido customer called to activate his servic.e... that representative activated the service with my sim card number...
fido had to change my sim.,...from then on my problems have started...

i have so many failed calls.... when i try to call someone i have to try 6-7 times before the call can be made
ppl have told me when they try to call that is says this customer is unavaible at the moment... my cell is on 90% of the time...
and i get disconnected soooo many times during a phone call...
as for the internet... it happens i lose the internet for 2-3 hours sometimes as welll

what can cause this? fidos wonderful network? my new sim?? or the fact that the hiptop doesnt work on the 850 mhZ frequency???

call failed and network busy is a common network problem were having lately, fido & rogers technicians is working arround the clock to resolve the problem. it has nothing to do with your sim card being registered to someone elses account, it probaly wasnt anyways if u received calls on your number just fine before.
