Here in the Great Lakes region...maybe other regions. CLA's are now priced at $29.99 and most cases are now priced at $24.99. Apparently this went into effect as of yesterday...but of course I didnt receive an email or anything. So...just be aware

Don't worry, it's not just your market. I'm pretty sure that it happened everywhere. I'm really unhappy about it since our accessoory prices were already kinda high.

You know who else used to have their accessories priced this way? At&t wireless.

I was talking to a blue rep today about how I thought it sucked that cingular was taking on all these blue policies and tactics for everything except paying their employees like they did for blue employees.

that is the first thing i noticed when i came "back" ( i left for 6 months) and now all the ridiculos blue stuff is in place and the horrid orange pay is in place

I noticed this yesterday...

This is stinking ridiculous....
How can Cingular be so stupid? It would make more sense to lower the prices a bit... and potentially increase sales, than to raise them and cause even more people to drive to the mall down the street, or to the flea market.. (yes, there is a flea market down the street from our store , so much for selling any cases...)

For crying out loud, they only pay a few dollars for each of these things.... I guess Stan needs another private jet..

i work for one of the busiest cingular stores in the country... and to tell you guys the truth this price increase hasnt hurt me much at all... in fact for the few days its been in effect i already seen my numbers crunch up pretty high, and im digging it :-D

That may be fine and dandy for you, but for those of us in areas where people live and die by Wal-Mart, K-Mart and the Dollar sotres it hurts.

People around here pinch pennies, and they have no problems with driving to a discount store or going to an accessories stand and getting chargers and so forth for considerably less money.

luckily we have cda discounts and bundle discounts...

The prices might be reasonable if the accessories were oem but the crap they stock isn't worth $10.

1. Let me guess what happens next...Cingular raises quota on accessory sales. Ah.... greedy!!!

2. $29.99 for an AFTERMARKET accessory thats APPROVED by Cingular.... man....I know how much an aftermarket accessory NOT approved by Cingular is...... even for small business wholesale....thats not much.... imagine the profit Cingular will make on EACH accessory now.... wow.... its almost like stealing!

I know cingular pays ~$3.50 for them

i live in the same type of area man, and when we tell customers that we are one of the top 5 busiest COR stores in america (use to be number 1) they even question me about that, since this town isnt all its cracked up to be. anyways i've got about 20 other agent stores down the street, 2 cor stores on the same street, walmart and kmarts galore, FLEA MARKETS... and little accessory dealers everywhere, so competing with them is nothing, all you have to tell them is the value of it (CINGUlAR 6 step process - build value)

VZW does now. Seems orange is doing some more pricematching

well most areas have the bundle deals don't they? 2 for 39.99 3 for 49.99 and 4 for 59.99 or something like that on CLA's Earbuds, data cables and cases.

Posted by: BellaDea

We also have those bundles (though we don't sell them much out here) and it looks like there'll be new bundles including bluetooth for christmas...
