Well after months of applying at this cingular store where i live i finally got hired. Now my question is what things should i be on the lookout for. Any advice. i currently work at best buy so i know all about meeting budgets/quotas and mystery shops and soforth. i have a 30 day probationary period with cingular and i want to make sure i pass those 30 days. my friend works there and makes 3k+ a month for 19 yrs old and i would like that also. any advice would be great.

Get all family members in on your 1st 30 days, it helps the quota to get you out of probation fast. Cold calling everyone you know. And onsites. Do those and you should be fine. Also use ROCCS to get some easy business. Check out RWOF for FAN discounts for businesses in your area and make/handout flyers with your name or business card attached. Good luck man.

$8? My market is at $10 minnimum and I am at $12.50 or above every month.... wow where do you work

Yea, but they should order him some if he's working for COR. But if he wants to buy some himself I am getting rid of all my Polo/Dress shirts $7 a piece.

Anybody know what Cingular's pay cycle is? My first day is Monday, Nov. 14 and I'm just wondering when I'd probably see my first check.

Every two weeks on Friday/and your commission check on the last Friday of the month.

I refuse to use ROCCS.

To me that is telemarketing, and I refuse to do that. Nowhere in my job discription has it ever said I am to do telemarketing.

I despise telemarketers and I will not become something I hate so much.

I have no problem calling my own customers back with the 2-2-2s and such, but I will not bother others.
