Uploading to the LG 6200

******Newbie alert******

I bought the LG 6200 this week. I'd like to upload my own images and ringtones to it. It's my first cell, so I'm a little hesitant to do anything that might damage it or void my warranty.

How can I find out the native resolution of its "screensaver" images? What about ringtones? It's 32-note polyphonic. Can I convert MIDI files?

What about Bitpim? What about the Sprint PCS uploader site at http://rumkin.com/tools/sprint ? How effective are they, esp. given the LG 6200 is too new for it to be included in their compoatibility lists?

I'm sorry for the flood of questions. If anyone could direct me to a primer or a sticky on uploading it'd be greatly appreciated.

The Phone Uploader worked like a charm. I prepared a JPEG image of 128x160 pixels (the full screen res of the phone) and uploaded it to the site. Within 2 minutes I got a text message with a link to load the image into my phone.

On to the ringtones...

For images, try: http://www.pixabove.com

Or go to the WAP deck and download from there. All contents (ringers and images) are tested to ensure optimal-ness on your device.
