Computer not recognizing phone

Hi, I just got a USB cable for my t637, but my computer will not recognize it!
I downloaded a whole bunch of software but they all say "no phone connected."
Help!

what windows version are u running?
did u install the drivers..?

i have aa sony ericsson t616 and i downloaded float mobile agent to go along with it. i had trouble at first getting it to recognize my phone and then i checked the settings. i lowered the baudrate to 57600 and then it worked. i hope this helps.
