I convert a file to mp3, then split with a POP mp3 splitter to make it a couple of seconds, transfer into the phone using the MPT no prob, then when I click to play the file it says system error. does anyone know why it wont just play properly and why i get the error message?

Witch motorola are you using? It may be bitrate. Make 128kbps mp3 and try again.

by the way, is there any programme that captures sound from a dvd while you are playing it on the PC? Thanks in advance

sound recorder, as well as 100's of other available programs out there

Thanks Paolo. The so called sound recorder that is a part of Windows doesn't pick up sound from anything...

There is this one.
"Record any(Web DownStream/AVI/WMV/ASF/RM/AU/MIDI...) to MP3/WMA/WAV files only if you can hear it!"
Does this descript included DVDs ? This is a pay job, are there any freebies that you know of?
