I abandoned iTman (Itunes Manager) App, but if you want the last version (1.1), click here!

cTunes:

cTunes not been released yet!

For who want to help me with cTunes BUGs

, download here, setup, use E1_FS, and Decompress cTunes estruture folder to your transflash card (b)!

One problem to resolve that i have no idea how to do:

On keylock, the POWEROFF button can´t be captured, and close app!

Anybody have idea if exist a way to block this Sucks key?

Songs folder (MP3. MP4, M4A, AAC): /b/cTunes/
Libs folder (M3U): /b/cTunes/
Skins Folder : /b/cTunes/Skins/

This cTunes struture zip contains 1 skin example
This cTunes struture zip contains 1 lib.m3u example that can be deleted
This cTunes struture zip contains 1 song.mp3 (empty file) example that can be deleted

to create your on Skin:
- Create Images;
- Create SkinName.ini
- on SkinName.ini:
F= Hex color of font
S= Hex color of selected font
B= Hex color of background
I= One line text about skin

On cTunes, to Keylock, press MENU and STAR.

This cTunes has a AUTO English and Portuguese Brazilian languages.

In Advanced Settings, configure ID3 load type:
- on Load (Load ID3 on load App = More Slowly)
- prefetch (Load prefetch file, Load ID3 from file hasn´t on prefetch, and save on prefetch file = More Fast)
- manual (Not load ID3. Load only prefetch file. = Realy fast)

The Artists and Albums window have a bug, and i blocked on this moment.
The "Now Playing" window (play song

) a blocked on this version.

I´ll release 1.0 version on corrected this bus and create a HELP.

USERS do not download this cTunes!!! it has a 2 BUGS! it´s only for who will try help me! The cTunes for users i will upload when these BUGs was corrected!

Please wait i release final version of cTunes (1.0).
I need more time working on it to release!

I discovery 1 bug solution!

Only 1 bug left.

I work now:
1- at last Bug!
2- help
3- four Skins
4- sign app (to install without E1_FS)

But i request help for 2 changes:
1- Power Button on Keylock - Is possible capture that?

2- Run on Background - Auto load app on Startup phone and run on background mode - Is possible ?

maybe it would be great if i press my headset button, and phone starts to play the next song. Or pause/resume.. Or it can be a setting...
it would work even if the keylock is on.

Can Java handle the button of headset?

Depends....If it is a bluetooth headset, no, because E398 java doesnt support bluetooth

I think if you press the bluetooth headset's button it can be detected as a normal system event as well. Java doesn't need to support java. But correct me if i'm wrong.

But anyway.. if i remember correctly, no one bluetooth headset is useable to listen to music. (x398 doesn't like them) Only for calls..

Ok, i Trapped the button of the earphone, that function desires that it makes?

The bluetooth, I find that it would not be used to hear songs, since would go to eraser the battery of it, recommends uses it only for calls.

how about the poweroff-button-problem?

i think you can release it without solving this problem.. maybe unsolveable..

imagine... Somebody creates an app. what runs in the background at the start-up, and it kills all button...

the headset button would handle "Next song" or "Pause/Resume" command.

I also get an application error. I installed the files unzipped from the 2nd link into b\cTunes (I just copied the folder over to b) and I copied cTunes.jar to b\mobile\kjava folder and installed it onto my phone that way.

What am I doing wrong?

I have got cTunes working, in which i mean i have got the app to load. I did this by first installing the app, running the E1 FS and then creating the folders it needs. BUT what good is a music app that doesnt play music!!! i think this program has great potential but at the moment its a gui made in java to look like itunes

Hi to all! Adriano, as I know, java app can`t be run when phone start, becouse in there is one app, what`s as I know is corelet, can roon ones. Simply saying you have to write your cTunes in corelet system to lunch it on start, and you have to delete iTunes, so you have to make someone better then iTunes. I can only hope, thet God gives you enof power and you`ll finish thet, what begn... All Motorolka.ru with you! We wait and hope. If need any asistant or you have some questions, don`t be afraid, ask! If you want and need, we can ask GrafMoto, just ask questions.

Adriano, try modify your seems
Seem 0032_0001 Offset 45 bit 0"Keypad: Combined Power and End Key", set to 0-off.

I believe that is the seem to separate End function and Power off. However, I not sure it will work with R373 firmware and secondly i wont know how to end a java application if it does work. Just found it, i will test it later.

Yeah. cTunes is kinda useless now since iTunes works now with 100 songs and never expired. vTunes is what we need. I am sure adriano will focus on vTunes now.

tentei instalar versao antiga do iTunes Manager via bluetooth, mas da um erro na hora
de rodar o programa... ele instala normalmente, mas nao roda, da um Application Error

como eu instalei pelo bluetooth nao fiz aqueles passos todos que voce pede lá no
tutorial, mas acredito que nao tenha sido esse o problema, vou tentar instalar mais tarde pelo cabo e ver o que acontece.

It is a program that you must run to make the Java program have access to your E1 phone files. (For ex: to read the mp3s)

Hi, and sorry guys for this long time....

This long time out of this forum is because i was in my mother house in christmas

and to beach in the new year

, and i´m playing with my new phone (V3c)

i´m NOT abandoned cTunes... but i´m not working on it now.

I´m change cTunes project to cRadio project.

It still on final stage (version 0.9) and i´m will post it HERE in briefing.

On really cRadio it´s a old cTunes with few changes:
- All old functions on cTunes

- Name (duh!)

- Skin (iRadio)
- Library Manager (new)
- 6 tabs (buttons) for fast libraries
- ID3 tag reader (new) (no more app´s to your pc! transfer music to transflash card by copy+paste)
- other few changes
- studing if is possible to support MOD,S3M,XM,IT files (Chien 35 sugestion)

cRadio isn´t a MP, it´s only a java app. you can use in any MP in e398.

On other phones you can use if it has a:
-MP3 support
-MIDP 2.0
-CLDC 1.1

Explain:

First, what is iRadio?:
iTunes is PAST on motorola Phones!

"Motorola iRadio" is a new music system from motorola that will be released with new E2 RORK.
It will be:
-One Java App on New Cell Phones (On Ad video motorola show with e398)
-Two Bluetooth Hardware devices, 1 to Home Stereo and 1 to Stereo Car.
-One CD with "Motorola iRadio PC software" (not iTunes) to buy a songs from On-line Radio Stations, to download to you PC, to Transfer to your Phone (hum... like iTunes)

The songs will be archivied on Phone, that can be listened, and played on Home or Car with Bluetooth Hardwares.

E398 hasn´t Radio hardware!

The cRadio name is because it´s a copy of iRadio from motorola.
iRadio from motorola, don´t play LIVE Radio, only play MP3, AAC, MP4.
The iRadio name from motorola is because you need to buy a mp3 songs online from "virtual radio stations".

Its comments like that, that make people like Adriano that try to help the community just not want to help anymore. If he said he'll release it then i'm sure he will, if he doesn't oh well, but there is no need to keep bothering him day and night just because you dont have it yet. On MoMo the new MP Production Team is creating new MP (Universal MOTO), So they might contacted Adriano for his iRadio.. May it will be surprise for us in new upcoming MPs..
All we can do is wait as much as we can.. or just concentrate on new thread otherwise this will create pressure on Adriano..

I uploaded (ctunes) itman 1.1.0 but when I try to run the app it says Application Error...anyone know why? im using the rokr e1 (i also wanna get rid of iTunes completely and just use this ctunes app)

Hey Fighters....

cTunes has not yet been released and i guess u have uploaded the test version of it which has got some bugs in it...and that is the reason why ur unable to run the application..

And for iTman...u have to run E1_Fs first to enable file access....otherwise u wont be able to use iTman....

cTheme is a skin/boot selector in java app, no need PC to switch!
cTheme is auto English/Brazilian Portuguese.

Verify in samples folder, it´s a 2 skins.
The cTheme search in b/skins/ for a file with extension SKI (name.ski).
If have, it´s show in list.

- Corrected Bug in "WAIT" screen.
- Add Vibrate for 1 sec when complete task
- Add Packages option (working yet!) to transfer Skins/Boots to others phone by Bluetooth

Comming soon: version 1.2 compatible with Original e398 and V3x

WHAT IS cTheme:

- cTheme is a java app for install and remove skins from your phone using skins copied by drag´n´drop to transflash.
- cTheme also install a boot animation and sound from boots avaliable on transflash.

With cTheme you can copy a lot of skins and boot to your transflash by PC or bluetooth and INSTALL them without a PC, at any time.
For example: If you have 5 skins on your Phone, but no have more space to install others skins, use avaliable space from transflash to copy all the skins, and without a PC remove a installed skin to give a space to install another skins form transflash without PC. You can change Skins at any time.
This apply to boots too. You can copy a lot of boots no transflash and switch on your phone at any time without a PC.

In new version, you will can package a skin on transflash or installed to one file to transfer by bluetooth, you can also package a boot installed or on transflash. With this, you can share boots and skins with other cellphones by bluetooth.

Info about wallpapers:
cTheme not install wallpapers skins yet! It´s in development.

Explain how to use skins in transflash:
Copy your skin files (*.ski and *.dat) to skins folder on transflash. You can use more than one skin! For more info, read README.HTM in ZIP

NO!

In version 1.1 only works with modded E398 and E1.
Why?

Because it´s work with TRANSFLASH (b/) and install skins on c/.
On others moto phone the skins must be installed in a/.
And the custon animation and sound is configured for e* model.
For Example on V3 this custom animation has other file name and it is stored on other folder.

I working on version 1.2, that will be compatible with others phones (including V3)

vtunes.. is this the one thats meant to paly video thru java? well im pretty sure it cant happen...well for the e398/v3/rokr neway... cause it will throw an exception when u try and play a 3gp or a mp4...although it natively supports it...it cant play thru kjava.. i was told this by motorola tech support from motocoder

São programas para fazer "easy jack", mensagens via Bluetooth. Achas que podes dar uma vista de olhos nestas aplicações? Seria bom para toda a comunidade MOTOROLA. Aguardo resposta.

this program use lame_enc.dll and write in Visual C++.
From WAV to Mp3 is working fine, but i don´t make work resample MP3 to MP3.
I´m trying to resolve this for 2 weeks, and nothing....

I need Urgent HELP for REALLY distribute this system.
For how want to test, DON´T use recompression, only ByPass mode!

For this reason I am not distributing the package all, only the basic system....

C'mon guy... let's give some hope here rather than pointing somebody a liar... There's every possibility of this to work and this guy do it for us for FREE... what more than we can expect. Try unzip the cRadio he uploaded and check out those pictures, he did actually run it in his phone... Perhaps we should look into ourself of what we can do and what this guy can do... "We can do nothing" and "We're very good at swearing somebody".... nothing more than that... what a shame..!

Guys, The FULL system have 8mb, and include the JAR!

This zip, i post for how want tho help me to correct the bug when re-encode mp3 files.

Sorry for comdgl32.ocx, i forgot it when i compile.
I will re-compile the app for correct this!
But i need help to encode MP3 to MP3 using lame_enc.dll!

I will post the FULL zip, but REMENBER, the java cRadio will work ONLY with MP3 sync with ByPass option.

I go to my house to copy the zip, and in few hours i upload.

Adriano, can't wait!! hey are we able to skin the app?

Also, one quick note about a annoying bug, if you click on "Info" without a song selected, the "Info" form opens up but you are not able to close it, even when clicking on "OK". You shouldn't be able to click on "Info" if a song is not selected. Other then that, program looks amazing, can't wait til you release the full version!!!

Adriano, I have a suggesion:
1) Do you relly think that someone will use your program if: it don't have "hide" option; like iTunes it needs a database, created on computer
2) Because of 1, forget about computer software! You're a good java programmer, so just develop java app, that can work without pre-generated DB. And only after that, it will really ROCK!

PS. If you relly want to create computer software (PC ver.of your cRadio): try first decoding MP3->WAV, then WAV->MP3. Decoding MP3->WAV is just a few seconds!

Since it is a java file, and entirely of your own creation, I recommend that you copyright your work, and get cRadio (or mRadio) as a trademark. You may even get motorola trying to buy it off you.

And the playlist has been disabled in the firmware. Now that RSA has been cracked it may be possible to enable it again.
