He guys,

I correct the MP3-to-MP3 bug and recompile with ocx/dll.
Now this version has NO bug!

The last bug, i traing to correct is the Album Art save in mp3 (id3 v2.4) that cRadio java reads.

adriano, still missing the jar, was this suppose to be the full release? Also the problem with the "Info" form opening without a song selected problem is still there. When do you expect to release the jar? thanx

Guys...

1-Java ALREADY finished!
2-The full pack is composted by:
-cRadio.Jar
-cRadio.Jad
-cRadio.exe
-lame.dll
-Help_enu.html
-Help_bra.html
-Image folder for helps

3-The full pack not more has 8mb, because i pack cRadio.exe by UPX, now pack has 1,4 mb.
4-Why i didn´t distribute java app yet?:

Explanation:

-the java cRadio show ID3 info saved INSIDE mp3 file.
-the java cRadio show Album Art saved INSIDE mp3 file.

When i working on java app, i creat function to READ ID3 and Album Art from file, to NOT be necessaire use programs to upload songs on cel phone to be created separated files with Info and Arts.
But when i finish it, i see one problem.
If you don´t have a program to save ID3 and Art, cRadio don't show.
iTunes for windows can do this, but i try to EXCLUDE itunes from my program.
Then i work with Windows Media Player, it CAN write ID3 and album art and SYNC. with phone.
But WMP, can´t re-encod mp3 with others bitrate (to save disk space), it only modify to wma file.
When i try to write id3 and art on WMP, and re-encode with MotoTunes, the songs lost id3 info.
Then I decided to create my proper program, to write ID3 and Re-encode without lost info, and sync.
In this moment, i create cRadio.exe.

But if you ask me: cRadio java run without cRadio.exe?
YES!, you only need copy mp3 files to your transflash.
But if mp3 hasn´t a Art, cRadio can´t show.
But if mp3 hasn´t a ID3, cRadio can´t show.
You can do this on others softwares.
But in my own case, i have songs with 256kbps in my computer and i listen the same song on celular phone with 96kbps, because I perceive no difference on earphone, but I gain great of space on transflash.

In this case cRadio.exe will an indispensable tool.

Now, cRadio.exe has no Bug anymore, but a function still does not function, SAVE Album Art.
cRadio java and exe can READ Album Art, but cRadio.exe don´t write then.
I´m working on this, and when I finished, I will post then.

Now with this informations, I answer the question:
If i post java app, and the guys can´t view Album Art, they go to speak that she does not function what I divulged.

I WILL POST cRadio.jar WHEN I FINISH THIS FUNCTION!!!!

Be Patient, i will be this shortly.

found another bug, trying to add more then 9 songs, i get:

Run-time error `380':

invalid property value

and cRadio closes.

Sorry for the Strange Question I am gonna ask you but..
How do I use this Application..?
I mean I ran cRadio.exe and it has the best user interface but what I need to do if I want to insert more then one(1) song at a time means right now I am insering songs one by one..!!!
What if I have to upload more then 100 songs..???

Please suggest me...

I really don't understand why the need for cRadio for Windows... all that the comunity wants is a good Java player... preferably a Corelet (nopw that we got rid of the singed corelet Thingy) so we can hide it and that searches the songs in realtime... exactly like Light player does...

If Light Player would have the hide option and some nice skin I would replace my iTunes with it without thinking...
MotoTunes is a great upload Program and i'm shure that the author would support a new java player by skipping the creation of the Itunes DB...

^^^ bogy16 some of us may have seen the preview of what you wrote and to be honest that's not very cool.. some members here try to share their knowledge with us as much as they can and when they can. As much as you and most others who have subscribed to this thread in hopes of a better mp3 player for our phones try to be patient and this is a free java app he's releasing.

i think you can release it without solving this problem.. maybe unsolveable..

imagine... Somebody creates an app. what runs in the background at the start-up, and it kills all button...

the headset button would handle "Next song" or "Pause/Resume" command.

trojan horse.... what does this historical name suggests you? It's a software in disguise. It pretends that it's helping you.... on the contrary, it spies on you. Basically it opens a backdoor for the user/site which has planted it on your machine.

Yeahh... some BAD antivirus return FALSE POSITIVES.
I used NIS 2006 some time and it's great, but now i use BitDefender 9 IS, low CPU usage, low resources... It's a very good antivirus,firewall,antispyware,etc...

cool... I finally found the thread which I first saw 6 months ago before going into hibernation. Was hoping the vTunes was released by the time I am back, but it seems a new cRadio is in production. Nice Work Paladin, always surpassing new technologies.

Erm... don't mind me asking, after reading from page 1 to page 18, I am not even near knowing what cRadio is or what it does. The first post is not updated and even after raving through the whole thread I am still not sure of this new software and its capabilities. Lol... I heard the vTunes is in production too, to me thats the highlight, until i realise what cRadio does. Anyway keep up the good job!

P.S. You guys might want to help me with the new happenings cause i come from the Shoey i398v1 R373_1ER ERA lol

cRadio is basically just an audio player with 6 playlists available.. people are looking forward to it because it will have album art like iTunes enabled and unlimited song capacity unlike iTunes.. Adriano is also releasing an .exe for the pc to allow you to transfer music to the phone.. unfortunatley the java app has not yet been released...

Flash R373 42R for all firmware, then flash any new R373 MP. New R373 firmwares is very fast. 6FR and 70R have video recording up to 64MB, but drains battery fast and sound quality is not very good. 42-48R's has 90sec. video recording limit, but good sound quality and battery lifetime.

i explained the short battery life issue in another topic of this forum. if u plug in the headphones, the battery life boosts up to 3 days. why? bcoz all the rokr firmwares have the same problem: the speakers of the fone stays ON constantly. they go off if u plug in the headphones only.. it sux but works for me. i use the headphones all the time, doesnt bother me at all.

Yes the itunes has been cracked for 400 song limit and i hv cracked it on my mobile and its working perfectly!!!!

I am using 48R...and the patch for 48R is same as the patch for 45R...so u can patch 45R patch onto 48R...no prob!!!!

After patching is done...use Motomidman to upgrade itunes.jad...

And then restart ur mobile and hey bingo u hv itunes with 400 song limit!!!!!!

After you have flashed 42R for all you can flash any MP with 42R or newer firmware. Just flash it

Hey guys, sorry...

I will release cRadio more fast than possible,
I will update the first post,
I will release cRadio1000 (for E1000 phones)
and I change cRadio.exe because:

I compile cRadio.exe with ALL librarys (DLL) and have 2 antivirus softwares that show warning about a trojan, the EXE HASN´T a trojan, I recompile exe without all librarys, and add all then (DLL) on zip file, and this 2 sucks antivirus no more warning about trojan.

Changes on cRadio:
-No more /b/cRadio/ folder, load all songs from /mobile/audio/ from a/, c/, b/ partitions (a/ for e1000 and V3x)
-600 to 6000 songs limit

i do not think that i can do something like this or i dont have any java or c++ knowledge. i'm just a member of hofo and i have a life outside hofo too. if adriano finishes this app, good for him. but i'll let u know that i have a working e398/rokr with 512 adaptor which i made all by myself since august, 2005. maybe i am good at other things like hardware modifying and i am on side of the people who makes complete and flawless work.

Adriano has released software before.. so he has earned respect in that sense, software takes time to develop.. if you dont believe me, sign up for a C++ class and experience it for yourself.

guys i talk to adriano yesterday. development is still going. we should see something soon. Dont worry, he didn't stop developing yet. From what i can see, he wants the jar to be bug free before releasing. I'll be talking to him again today, will let you guys know more when i do.

hey everyone im new here...i've been following along with this cRadio thing for a lil while now to..its pretty neat..i was just wondering ...when i am installing the itman i can't get past one thing

8- On Phone, open Games & Apps.
9- Select Menu, Switch Storage Device and TRANS.
10- Go to Last item on menu, the [Install New].
11- Select one of iTman and Select.

i can't get the menu to open and select the transflash..does anyone else have this problem with the V635?....thanks alot for listening ...

In MotoMidMan you must go to Settings and then activate Swtich of Storage Devices or something like that ... you'll get it when you see it ...

Lol.. ive sort of given up on this cRadio.. not trying to attack anyone here.. just saying that it has been over a month possibly 2 months.. with no java app... and the app isnt promising hide feature, whilst for iTunes we have many new skins.. and unlimited songs.. and hide features incorporated.. also with motoTunes mobile, the use of a PC to make playlists for iTunes is eliminated..

Just my thoughts...

sounds like reverse psychology to me. i dont think it's really fair to complain. your waiting on a free product that involves someone elses time. maybe itunes has this or that, but apple makes tons of money to develop products. At least someone is putting forth the effort to give an alternative, and even if it doesnt start out in par at least give him credit for being able to develop somthing like this. i know i cant. Once he does release it he can then go on to improve on it, i dont think being negative will help though. How does that saying go? if u dont have somthing nice to say dont say anything.

Yes, I appreciate his efforts, but it is also nice to post updates during a 2 month waiting period..

i.e. whether the project will be completed soon, what bugs still remain, what difficulties are being incurred etc.

hey guys, so i talked to adriano, looks like his harddrive crashed, and he lost all his recent work, he did mention that he did backup the source codes, but it sounds like he lost all the recent work. He did mention that he'll most likely just release his source codes and someone else could continue on his work. I'm not 100% sure whats gonna happen. He was suppose to release the jar to me to test, but his hard drive crashed so i didn't recieve a copy. I'll let you know when i talked to him again,

using itunes editor, you can edit the resourcedb in the jar. Its like lightplayer, you wont be able to change skins on the fly, you will need to install different jar's to have different skins. i'm hoping to make some skins soon.. just haven't had any time lately.

ooo his hdd has crushed, what a shame...or he was to lazy to finish it. I bet that he got some problem making .jar and he could not repair them, so no more cRadio for us, i vote for locking this thred, is open for 6 month

posts like these are unnecessary. Maybe he does have it completed. but with all these negative comments he might be sharing it with other forums. give the guy a break.

Ok... if you guys havent heard.. adriano's HDD crashed with the cradio project on it..

So he said that he will be able to release the jar for cRadio but onyl for e1000... as that is the only backup he has..

Dude, can modify you cRadio project to upload Music to /audio folder and Update itunes database. If this is easy in compared to cRadio project.
And will can be transfer music in /audio folder from BlueTooth with other phones.
