Chirp Sounds And Beeps.

Im Trying to make my v180 sound like a motorola iden phone(or for the slow people, nextel or boostmobile sounds)

Yea.. as a matter of fact I was looking for some Nextel tones but I could never find them. People with Nextels... please?... tones?

Well here is a problem... I transfered the tones to my phone. i can see and listen to them if I go menu>multimedia>sounds

but you CAN'T assign these tones to anything. I'm assuming because they're too short. What I'm going to try and do to get past this is add a few seconds of silence to the tones.

What program did you use to transfer them? If it was a P2k program:

Use a P2k program and delete the 2 .db files (MyToneDB and TempToneDB) in the audio folder and restart the phone.

I thought I did that.

I mean, it's habit for me. I'll see though. I really want the nextel outgoing chirp to be my ringtone!

Nevermind, it's annoying as **** because on motos it just repeats the ringtone. So Ima use it for my incoming and outgoing text msgs.
