i dont know whats up with mine. i might let it die and recharge for 24 hours. i get about 24 hours MAX without using anything except phonecalls, which isnt even a lot.

Wirelessly posted (SonyEricssonP910i/R4A SEMC-Browser/Symbian/3.0 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.0)

mine too...

If i only get a few (like 4-5 calls) a day, mine will last me at least 2 days (my calls are always short tho, just a few minutes). When i first got it i tried leaving it on all day without playing with it and forwarded my calls, doing that it last 4 days.

I've only had to recharge mine everynight if i've been calling, sms, and generally playing with it alot.

i think mine last for a day or half while using it like playing music and recieving calls

and if i leave it alone it lasts a day for sure and even sometimes more

Mine last for close to 3 days...

And I do close to 2000 minutes a month.

i think the brightness is a big factor. mine is set as 25. if i drag it to 100 then it'll loss more battery. urs thinking..........?

A couple of days tops when I don't "play" with the phone - just a few calls a day. But when I do use sms, play some games, and etc. it lates a day. The brightness of the screen on my P910 is set at 80%. I did have it at 100% before but the battery lasted less than a day then.

I guess the screen and running applications (even background running apps) consume a lot of power.

whats the way to save a bit?

Posted by: shockdaddyd

Try downloading SMAN and closing apps when not in use. That will save lots of juice. Also, a master reset may be in order.

Posted by: dkny_boi

Yeah, that's what i was gonna mention too, sometimes you'd be surprised how many apps are still running in the background. Could always turn down the display brightness a bit too. I also turned off the screensaver an just have that standby clock turning on.

Oh, and Bluetooth, make sure that's off when not in use. That drains me in a hurry.

Posted by: jujuburi

from where i can download SMAN?

i downloaded it... but cant understand about the settings...
every time after using an app. i have to end task it or it will close automatically?

Posted by: dkny_boi

There should've been a readme.txt file that came with it for you to find out how everything works. Basically, what you can do is when you first open the program and see the task manager, you can end task everything you don't want. Then, to set it up so it'll automatically do this, press the icon to take a snapshot (black camera with big yellow flash icon). Once you've done that, there is an option under the "options" called "flipclose flush". If you check that option... then any program you happen to have running other than what was originally taken in that "snapshot" will close anytime you close the flip. I hope that makes sense. Never the less, see if there's a readme file, read it and it'll tell you more about what you can do with sman.

You have to shut them down.

thanks to both of u...

its easy just check the boxes of programs then press end tasks

You guys might find this battery saving tip useful. It worked on my P900:

GPRS - battery saving tip

Posted by: jujuburi

hmmm good tips... but didn't work for me. When i changed it to 'GSM ONLY', i could not work on GPRS...then when i changed it to 'AUTOMATIC', gprs started to work.

Posted by: shockdaddyd

I leave mine on auto. I also use SEVEN Mail which communicates with the servers often. My battery life is still quite good – only need to charge every few days. A while back I had an issue with my old P900. A master reset fixed it.

same here, with a few exeptions, bluetooth headset connected all the time and use of gprs about an hour per day usually when I wake up in the morning (about 9:00) I take it off the charger and by 12:00- 1:00 midnight i'ts less than 20% so I put it back on the charger all night until I get up in the morning... :|

Back up all the data on your phone then do a master reset.
