considering flashing my v635

I am considering flashing my v635, I am mainly in it to make the picture quality better. Which flash version is the best and which flex version is the best? Also I have never done this to a phone so is there anything I should know about or any all around advice on succeeding at this?? Which versions do I have to go through, I am at 24r right now.
