Hello guys and gals,
I know there is a ton of information on this forum about PST but thats the problem, there is too much info. Please try if you can help me out.

I have a RAZR V3. It works fine with Mobile Tools. But PST is a different story. I have PST 7.2.3 and I run Windows XP. I also applied the patch which patches different dll files. I use USB cable and thus I disabled the serialport scan in PST.

Now with PST not running I connect the phone and I hear a ding saying the phone is connected. When I launch PST i hear another ding saying the phone is disconnected. After 5 seconds I hear three other quick dings. What the heck! And then of course PST cannot detect the phone.

What is going on? You guys have a wealth of information there. Please help me out.

Find a different version of PST.

Also tried 6.7 with patch but got the same result.
