Problems with 2.3 and camera

Since I got the latest OTA update yesterday morning, when I go to use the camera the screen is completely black no matter what I do and when I try to take a picture is says "Your device is low on memory. Try restarting your device before taking another photo". I've tried deleting some pictures and restarting my phone, but still nothin. Anyone else having this problem or any ideas how to fix it?

HARD reset....flip the screen half way open...u should c a lil black hole......big enuf to fit a toothpick in...put the toohpick in there...or pin w/e small enuf can fit...and theres your hard reset---get back and tell me if you still got the prob.......

Anyone have a problem with the flash not working after the update? I did the power on/off trick last night and got both mine and my wife's Sidekicks to get the update. Not neither of them can take a picture using the flash. It didn't work very well before but sometimes helped add a little extra light to an otherwise dark picture. Now, you better take a pic under full sunlight or you can't see it.

Tried the hard reset and its still not working, still the same error. It happens no matter what flash mode I use.

i didnt even know the sidekick had a flash. does it actually flash or no. where do i go to turn it on

It used to flash, but after the update, not any more... Diagnostics light it up for each color but you don't have the option to select flash for a picture like you used to. I do think the firmware tried to gain up the camera a little more in low loght but all that does is add noise. Ah well... it sucked for a camera anyway. I'd be hard pressed to think any picture it could take would be suitable for a wallpaper.

Wow that's crazy, My flash works exactly the way it did pre-2.3. All the flash options are still there, and I just tested it & the flash still lights up. The only thing different about mine is that it works faster now & there's a little animation while it's saving the pic. Maybe there's something wrong with your device? The black screen sounds like the camera cable issue(search). Or maybe something got corrupted during the OTA installation. Call CS.

I searched everything here and I still couldn't find anything regarding that camera cable issue. Maybe I'm not searching hard enough, but what is that issue?

I've tried hard resetting and my camera still doesn't work even after the OTA.

Did you get 3 updates?

1st Updated: OTA 2.3 (while installing OTA and they just wipped the applications to free more memory, don't worry about applications they're stored on danger server will get your application back after 2nd updates.)
2nd Updated: Firmware
3rd Updated: Returning applications back in.

If you didn't get 2nd and 3rd updates, your camera might not work, need to call CC and have them to replace it for you.

My SK2 cellphone already have 3 updates, I tested on camera, flash and picture taken, work great like charm

I'm pretty sure I got all three updates. If i didn't get one of them wouldn't I either not have the 2.3 firmware or not have all of my old apps back?

Also, the camera worked in the past, and from what I could find with the camera cable issue, it sounded like those SK2's cameras never worked to begin with.
