k750i Hansdfree Headphones

Sorry if this has already been brought up but.... does anyone find that the handsfree headphones that come standard with the k750i distorts the sound in your mp3s? The music is fine when played through the phone's speaker but through the headphones you can barely make out the lyrics to a song. The music overpowers it and it sometimes picks up on a specific layer of the song and that dominates. Is this a common problem or are my headphones just stuffed? (I've only used the handsfree twice.) Thought I'd see what people have to say before marching into the Vodafone store and demanding it be fixed.
