I am really pissed this time... i think cingular is cheating on their upgrades... yeah we get paid $4 plus and additional $4 for QUALIFIED upgrades and migrations... i dont know if this is only in my market but everytime i see a customer with a VIP offer they are not QUALIFIED upgrade/migration.... so i take it if we force the upgrade/migration we are not being paid... i mean that is really disloyal for us.
We basicly were told by our manager to think of this as an add a line/feature/accessory oportunity...
not to mention they offer phones that are in back order.... remember the Samsung E317, Sony Ericsson Z500 or the Nokia 6102 being out of stock.
Any ways ive had enough. Why would you do this to cheat your employees out of commsions and then say they are doubling our comp for it.
Disloyal from cingular. Really upset and sad.

Does anyone even know what the correct upgrade policy is? My understanding is 90 days before the contract us up. Well i have customers with 1 day left on the contract opus says not eligable no $4 for me. What is the correct policy? No one knows

same here. i got some customer which they have no contract. but "eligable for upgrade" still No

doh! oh no not eligable!!!

well first thing first... opus is a web-based program that f'n sucks compared to telegence! im so glad i got my login back... (sales ops thought they were slick by banning me ey?) anyways, sometimes you really have to get to the root of the problem, like if they have 1 month left... you have to see if they've been suspended a few times or if they meet certain requirements. usually if they say "no contract" yet are still ineligable, probally means opus is being opus so just call upgrades and activations and hit zero, those people will do anything! HA!
