I just got my GD87 off ebay... I'd like some help... I need to test that the phone is SIM-unlocked - can anyone recommend a cheap lowvalue SIM card for the purpose - I'm actually taking the phone out of the country with me in a couple of days, so I don't need minutes here - I just need to test it.

just try a friend's SIM ....

Or show it off at the tmobile and att stores at the mall and let them put their sim card in the mobile and see if it works.

just put in your SIM. If it works, whocares if it's unlocked or locked.
and if you can't use it with your SIM, that means it's locked.
