EDGE Speeds now?

I got the 2.3 OTA (did the power off/power on trick like 9 times and then I got it) and I noticed a marked improvement in the browsing experience. So I went to dslreports.com/mspeed and ran a test and I got 100Kbps. I thought the Sidekick 2 didn't support EDGE? Did this change with a simple firmware update?

Wirelessly posted (your electric?: BlackBerry7520/4.0.2 Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 UP.Browser/5.0.3.3 UP.Link/5.1.2.16)

My blackberry gets over 200kbps and it does not have EDGE support, or any high speed support.

The SidekickII is NOT an EDGE device. It is only GPRS.

What you are seeing is the speed between the test site and the Danger servers. NOT to your device.

I went to www.dslreports.com/mspeed and got 1,046kbps

The Sidekick 2, regardless if have the 2.3 update cannot use EDGE.

The radio is not capable of working on that level.
