Ok ... lets say I erm, somehow got hold of a SPC Code for the Audiovox 8930, and could get in to the FULL MENU to do a NAM change and have access to the FULL NAME setup including

Code:
1: Set NAM 1: Phone Info 1: ESN 2: CAI Ver. 3: Firmware # 4: Model # 5: SCM 2: NAM 1: Mini Setup 1: DIR Number 2: Phone Number 3: Home SIDs 2: Full Setup 1: NAM Name 2: DIR Number 3: Phone Number 4: FM Setup 5: CDMA Setup 6: Home Sys. 7: PRL Info. 3: SPC Code 4: SCI 2: Voice Option 1:12KQCELP 2: 8K EVAC 3: Default

What exactly could I do? Would that allow me to "unlock" the phone, and set it to work on any CDMA network in North America? Or will it do nothing important other then change the NAM/Phone #?

Thanks for fast replies.

technically you can... if you get a carrier's codes, you can program them into your phone, and it will work on their network...
