v400 No Service flash/flex/hardware?

Ok, for some reason my v400 will not keep a signal. When I start the phone, it finds full signal, and a few seconds later it's gone. Sometimes it shows a signal, but when I attempt to make a call it immediately goes away. I've also got another v400 mobo and it will get good service when i replace it, but it has water damage and only 4 buttons work. So is there anyway I can either swap some of the hardware and get service on the working mobo or is there some special trick that will abra kadabra some service back in my phone? I'm thinking it is the hardware, but I'm not sure what to do about it. The antenna is perfect, circuit board looks fine... not really sure why one works and one has lost it's mind. I've tried flashing and flexing to different versions and it hasn't regained the ability to maintain service. Any input will be appreciated. One question for someone who knows the parts on a v400 mobo. What is the small square on the keypad side at the top middle? I think it says "F408 206P" ? Thanks

try cleaning the no reception mobo. theres probably dust on the antenna contacts. use isopropyl alcohol not rubbing alcohol.

I've cleaned all the contacts with alcohol, I've tried .45R, .75R, .72R flashes along with v400, v600, and v3 flexes. I looked closely at the circuit boards and compared them side by side. No difference. I can't understand how the one with rust all over it works to some degree and the sqeaky clean stuff doesn't. Anyone else have any ideas?

This also happens to my v400. I can't have steady signal and my call keeps on failing. Appreciate if we can get some help on this....
