Does anyone else have issues with this? I can only get it to work when i have my headset on AND the power adapter plugged in. Even then it works half the time and sometimes doesn't let me know its working until i am talking to someone accedentally... In any event just wondering...

what exactly does the "wake up" feature do?

I figured it out... it's supposed to only work with the car hands free kit..

the "wake up" feature is to dial a number and call someone without touching your phone. If you read the manual carefully they will mention that it only works with the hands free kit. The hands free basically is a headset for you to talk in and a battery charger for the car. That is why you need both your headset and your charger connected when using. To use this feature, simply say "wake up" and it will beep twice? (not sure on how many time it beeps) and you say it again. Then the phone will ask...name or dial? ( I have a KX2 and it works the same way...I tink...)

you say wake up, it beeps
you say wake up again, it beeps twice and puts you into the voice recognizer
you need power applied to the phone of some sort (cause its always listening, and otherwise it would just drain your battery like crazy)
you need either a headset or a car kit attached - speakerphone doesnt work
once its in the voice recognizer it acts just as if you pressed the green button (without previously entering any numbers of course)
