try Toccer. can't remember the url for the site off hand but a google search for the terms "toccer" + "treo" should bring it up. or you can search on myTreo.net. that's where I found it.

Just do a search here or on google... The European version of AIM is free for some reason but still works here...

Does AIM use the Cell Internet or does it go by the text messaging??

I use agile messanger
works with aol and yahoo and ICQ

and it is free

Also, use Chatopus to connect to GTalk, if you want...

Does this require you to subscribe to MediaNet and have access to the interent?? Or is it run via Txt Messages? (Not the IM forwording, but the actual AIM program)

www.atomiccog.com is for Toccer. The latest version is preview 9.
