So I just got the Motorola E815 and to my suprise I am totally disappointed. Reasons:
It can't do streaming TV.
It can't do MSN Messenger.
There is alot of problems with the web browser.
I can no longer download from other website like tagtag or dbringers. It doesn't even support the high quality ring ACC format.
Lots of little glitches here and there.
Trans flash card not included and to buy one is absolutely impossible because futureshop doesn't even sell it.

All your complaints were on their site and here before your purchase. You can return it.

Don't know about the other concerns , but I'm pretty sure that Futureshop is not the only retailer in Canada who is capable of selling electronic thingies. I'm sure that with perserverance, you may be able to accomplish the impossible and get yourself a transflash card, then you can move on to endeavours that are merely difficult, like world peace in our time...

Cheers

I'm not 100% sure but I thought the phone could do MSN Messenger. Isn't the MSN Messenger client a java app that you download from Bell?

Just buy a transflash from Bell World

YOu can get a free Transflash card from Motorola, there's a promotion going on until the end of November.

Streaming video and MSN should be available soon, just give it some time. It's a new phone so don't expect everything to be available from the start...

It is a java phone but apprently it says it is not compatible with this phone.

Try cancomputers.com or ncix.com for the memory - should be about $90 for a 512.

This is probably the best phone on Bell - the a920 looks great but is too expensive IMO.

we don't sell them, but Motorola is giving a TF card and card reader for free if you purchase this phone right now.

Yes we do 128M for $39.95 (sku 63660)

Posted by: dirtyjeffer

nice...sorry, i saw those but didn't notice they were TF cards...i thought they were SD cards so i never bothered to look at them...either way, you get one for free, so that is still the best option right now.

This is why I never buy a phone that just comes out. I rather wait a couple weeks, find which phone doesn't have all these glitches, and buy that one. Anything that is new will have some glitches

Did I just get lucky? I love my e815, I get reception everywhere, I can download videos and convert them to be watched on it, the ringers is loud and clear, it doesn't creek or make any noises when I open or close it, it takes amazing pictures, I haven't had a single problem with it.

With that being said I will probably get rid of it when the 840 comes out. And only for 1 reason, it is completely black.....

I AM that petty...
