Appointment showing on Homescreen?

I have the Audiovox SMT5600 & when I set an appointment or reminder on the Calendar it shows up the day before. Say I set an appointment on Nov. 9th 2005 at 1:00 pm & end 5:00 pm.....

That appointment will be on my homescreen the morning of Nov. 8th. If it would just show on the homescreen at 12:01 am Nov. 9th would be fine

How do I change it to only show on the homescreen the day of the reminder or appointment?

Because I look at my phone & it says Lunch with Ami at 1:00 pm but just because it say the date too doesn't matter. I don't know what date it is or what day sometimes.

Sorry but it bugs me when my phone tell me I have an appointment one day before the appointment. You go all day Tue. seeing "Lunch with Kim" when your lunch is really Wed.

God help them that drink & party tell they passout. Then upon coming to you look at your phone, it says pick up Dan at Airport.... The catch is it really isn't for two days.

You like your phone's homescreen telling you tomorrow's agenda today?

Am I really the only one that this bugs?

I also do not like having the reminder the day before but I have not been able to find a way to change it. I also would be interesting in having the appointments and reminder showing on the day they are happening.
