I am planning on buying a new phone in mid january or so, and was going to get the p800, but i hear it may not be much less than the developer kit (1150 right now) and maybe even more until later. I will not buy one if thats true, but should i buy a gd87 at that time instead? Or just wait and get the p800? I really love both phones, but am wondering if the gd87 will be a waste and illl just get the p800 right away.......thanks for your opinions!

I'm going to hold out of the GU87 or NEC 515 when they are released by AT&T. But I don't think I can wait for the P800.....I will probably crack by early January.

I agree, I have the GD87 right now, and im loving it, but about 2-4 months after P800 comes out, and once all the bugs are out, i'll probibally get that too...

lol Espo, that's my plan too. It'll be either a P800 or Neonode(depending on how it turns out). Ahh more $$$ down the drain

i had a GD, now i got 7210 (please don't laugh, i like the phone) now will probaly get GD again..... and then wait for a good smartphone. i am not getting the P800.....

I like to keep the phone, PDA and digital camera separate. The P800 is interesting, but GD87 looks nicer and has all the functions I need. I would like Bluetooth so the phone can stay out of the way, but if it is not there, I can live with out it. This could be the right up grade for me, I like all that I have read so far

Can not compare, they are different animal.
Both are great phone.
