Has anyone went from a PDA type phone to a regular phone recently? How was the transition? Good?

I enjoy text messaging and was concerned that texting on a regular phone again would be fustrating.

Any inputs?

You may find it slow as you will have to use something like T9, but practice makes perfect.

For a while I was using a Blackberry and a Samsung phone.

One of the frustrating things I found with the Samsung was T-9 (coming from a qwerty it was tedious). And a frustrating software issue: If an SMS came in while I was composing an SMS, I would lose everything I typed! I would check the "draft" folder but it wouldn't be there.

Does this happen with newer Samsungs or other phones?

Now I'm just using a BB...
