Does anyone know if the phone is in stores yet? I know it's available on the website, but I can't buy it there and get my rebate...

We got it in yesterday, nice phone

I called all the local stores in Denver on Sunday, no luck. They told me that they get shipments on Tuesdays and Thursdays and to call back.

I called Telesales on Monday and was told they were on back order.

On a whim, I called the store nearest my house on Monday night and they said they had one. I went down and got it. "Tuesdays and Thursdays" they said...

Went to the local Sprint store in Ann Arbor, Michigan Wednesday morning. No 9000s in stock.

Went back in the afternoon to find out how long it would take for them to get one ordered in.... And he walked out of the back room with one in hand!

I picked one up in San Diego on the 10th (two days ago).

radio shacks will have the phones starting next week, my store is supposed to get at least 1 on thursday

Anyone in LA County get one?

I've called 6 stores in the Westside since 10/30, and everyone either says "we have no idea what you're talking about" or "after Thanksgiving".

I have to go to a store to get mine, rather than the website, so I can get the rebate. UGH.

and, btw, when the 9000 is discontinued in December, which Sanyo phone will replace it, and when will it come out?

I need this information about the MM-9000, it's discontinue date, and what's going to replace it also... please someone fill us in if you have any information. I have called every store in Utah, I get the same information as others have on this thread. THIS SUCKS!

Thanks in advance,

Scott

I went the sprint store in Springfield Mall in Northern VA on Sunday and they had them, but the manager said they weren't to be sold till next month.

I was just told yesterday by Sprint corporate accounts that the MM-9000 has now been discontinued for good and if I want a phone similar to that phone then I need to wait until the end of November for the MM-7500 instead of the 9000.

Why would they discontinue a phone that has just come out, and not everywhere yet?

I thought the same thing, it didn't make any sense...

Yeah, somebody's full of it. I will admit the 9000 does seem to be hard to find.

i called my radioshack, they said they had one and sold it right away so im sure they will get more

Posted by: suparob

i work for radioshack in davis, ca. and our store just one mm 9000 in our shipment on thursday.

if anyone's interested in buying it, we could ship it directly to your door.

I searched about 10 stores in Orange County, and drove/called about 6 stores on the Westside this weekend;

Most of them have heard of the phone now, but either only got 1 in (and it sold immediately) or just got the demo phone which they can't sell.

So does anyone know which phone will replace the 9000? And, when will it be released?

I called sprint CS on thursday morning, I got the phone via usps on friday its a pretty nice phone, I've already tweaked almost everything on it already.

P.S. everything works great, but the sprint tv service needs alittle work.
