Poor cars
. Even though insurance covers it all, it still sad to think about those BMW's on the bottom of the English Channel.

yea i JUST saw this on the TV. boooo
there are going to be a LOT of people NOT getting their BMW's for christmass
50mill USD worth of cars.
they are attempting to rescue them i guess parts like tires, wheels, engine could be re-used??
or the plastics.

The ship appears from the pic to have flipped sideways, I bet the cars are totally messed up. And I doubt they would use anything if it was exposed to salt water.

who want to go car fishing??

i thought about the salt water as well
but they said, they were retreving cars from it sooo.

Yeah, heard about that yesterday. I was gonna post an article, but I couldn't find one.
Think of all those cars lying there, at the bottom of the sea. I bet there's some nice M5 and M3s too, that's a sad picture.

I've always wondered if something like this has ever happened before. Anyone remember the movie 'The Perfect Storm'? There's this scene where it showed containers falling off a ship into the sea. When I saw that, I thought to myself "gee, i hope there wasn't anything expensive in those containers...especially not cars."
er...don't even know where im going with that. anyways, poor cars.

im over it now.
i had my morning peroid, chkecked to see if my friends BMW was on the VIN list of the cargo ship and its not.
but trust me.
deep inside, there is a significant part of my soul missing.

That's one hell of a sacrifice. I can't believe BMW would have done that to save the rest of the world from seeing the ugly Saab's and Volvo's.
Thank you BMW!

Yeah, its a VERY busy shipping lane. Now they got a french warship guarding it and warning other ships. I heard on my local AM news station that over 2900 of the cars were BMW's
, the rest were the others.
