Want to upgrade to SMT 5600 can anyone help?

My wife and I have been Cingular customers for many years now, and well I am trying to get my hands on the SMT 5600 but unable to upgrade. Anyone know of the best deal available on a new SMT 5600? Anyone work at Cingular who might just be willing to help arrange it so I can upgrade to the phone? I was looking to spend no more then $150 for a new phone and thats the phone I want but unable to get it for that yet.

I have tried calling in, I have gone to the retail store. I heard about the refurbs but they were unable to get me that.

If anyone can help in any way it would be greatly appreciated, any suggestions would be appreciated as well.

on the cingular site a refurb is 30 bucks... thats with 2 years tho i think 1 year is 80, you should be able to get one really easily

I tried but it is only for new customers not for an upgrade. I even tried calling about it but with no luck.

Wrong, I did it for an upgrade and it went through, so far. I haven't gotten the shipped confirmation but I did order rather late on Friday.

I assume you were eligible for an upgrade then? When you select upgrade online, it makes you sign in with your account info. at which point it tells me I am not eligible for an upgrade.
