After recently immersing myself in the 8940 tutorial thread (http://www.howardforums.com/showthr...ght=QPST+crash), I have managed to add/ copy a few images and ringtones to my 8940 (as well as my 8900 and my wife’s LG VX6000). Everything seemed to be going dandy, but then for no apparent reason many of the files would not show up on the phone.

The problems I am experiencing:

#1: The first time I used QPST (yesterday) I managed to get about a dozen .mp3's successfully shown in the 8940 setup menu (7,1,1,1). Today, I copied the remaining .mp3's, cycled the phone and did the "get it now" step...but none of the new tones show up in the phone menu, although they are clearly shown with EFS Explorer. Retried, repeated, rebooted, etc., etc. multiple times to no avail. All of the .mp3's were created equally. The same issue happened with my wife's LG VX6000 after uploading just 2 ringtones.....???

#2: On a side note, I am having an issue with getting images to show up on the screen. After uploading the image, I follow the steps in the tutorial, but when I select (setup 6,5) the image it is blank. All my .png images are formatted to 176x220.

#3: Has anyone else been experiencing total locks/ system crashes while using QPST? I am running XP SP2 with the 12-11-03 Curitel drivers.
